(Sask. Institute of Applied Science and Technology), in conjunction with Kanadiana International Equestrian Center Inc., Meadow Lake, Sask. have developed the Equine Studies Applied Certificate program.

The program will prepare students for a career working with horses, and also fosters entrepreneurship skills specific to this field.

This 9 certificate program includes:

English (Dressage/Jumping) & Western (show/performance)
Training and coaching certification.

*Carole Poche: Masters: Equine Education, Level II Western Coach*

genetics & breeding
horse health & hoofcare
effective speaking & teaching
farm bookkeeping & entrepreneurship
riding/training/coaching (Western and English)
starting & riding a young horse & horsemastership theory
CEF Rider Levels & Coaching Preparation, CEF Evaluation,
NCCP Coaching theory, Red Cross First Aid
Kanadiana Riding Master Certificate, SIAST Applied certificate

Includes horses (school horses and training colts), classes, SHF memberships, NCCP Theory & First Aid Course, Rider Levels & Learn to Teach Course.
